Come and celebrate with us!

Sunday 27 November, 2022.

CCN is delighted to announce that this Sunday (27 November) we will be baptising some young members of our church!

Baptism is an outward testimony of an inward transformation, and this Sunday we get the privilege of hearing about that transformation in the lives of two young men who wish to publicly declare their personal commitment to Jesus as Saviour and Lord.

To honour the occasion, our entire Sunday service will be an outreach event – designed for you to bring along your non-believing, questioning, sceptical and/or seeking friends! So we ask that you prayerfully consider and boldly commit to asking those in your social circles to come along and hear the good news of Jesus!

What To Expect

We will get together, sing a few songs, hear the personal stories of each getting baptised, and then listen to a short 25min talk on baptism and the Christian Story. After that, we will head to a local beach to witness the baptisms (we will advise which beach on Sunday), and thereafter continue to hang out as a church into the evening. We encourage you to bring along some food and drinks for an early tea together, and a continued opportunity to discuss and question the Christian Story with those you’ve brought along.
