G’day everyone! In this episode I have a go at answering the question: “What is Christian apologetics”? I begin by defining apologetics, taking a quick look at 1 Peter 3: 15 — “…in your hearts honour Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defence to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect” — and then offer four brief points for consideration:
- Apologetics is for all Christians
- Apologetics is all about Jesus
- Apologetics is marked by Christian integrity
- Apologetics is how we say what we say
